1/2 cup butter, melted
1 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
Pinch salt
1 cup + 1 tablespoon flour
1/4 cup whiskey (or Amaretto)
3/4 cup walnuts chopped
1/2 cup butterscotch chips
1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
Mix in a bowl in order of ingredients. Bake in a 8 x 8 greased pan for 20-25 minutes (or until middle sets) at 350. Cool before cutting.
Looks yummy, but I have to figure out how to say brown sugar in German first.

Diane, brauner zucker.
Kirk, I made a special trip to the grocery store specifically for walnuts. That's how much I love them.
Captcha, This recipe is so easy because you can mix the whole thing in one bowl and then just toss it in the oven.

Katy, Oh, just make them without the chocolate. They're also good with just nuts and dried fruit.

I'm going to have to check out your "blog" (I put it in quotes since you use typepad) more often since blondies and mac and cheese are pretty much my 2 favorite foods. And I have both JD AND amaretto in stock so what's a girl to do???
