Whether or not he makes it to the election, his powerful message will remain.
Albert Einstein once said, “Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand.” Yes it does, and yes we can.
The speech is awe inspiring. The song is more meh. But I am excited that so many people are being excited by Obama. He is the perfect antidote to what has happened to the country.

Every day, five U.S. soldiers try to kill themselves. Before the Iraq war began, that figure was less than one attempt a day. The dramatic increase is revealed in new U.S. Army figures.
Yes, something needs to change.

Thanks for posting. I heard about this song, but hadn't seen it. That speech Obama gave brought tears to my eyes when I watched it. He talks about the America I want and believe in. Yes we can.

Me too! My girlfriend that works at the local dems office dropped off an Obama t-shirt yesterday. It's way too big so I need to break out the sewing machine and cut it down to size. Go Obama go!

I was just thinking that I should get myself an Obama T!

I also ordered one from the website about a week after he won Iowa but he became so popular that there's a 3 week waiting period now for any new orders. It's like you're buying a gun or something! Republicans, running scared. Using hope instead of fear to motivate people. Those dirty dems!

What a perfect quote to pair with the video and the man behind it - I really enjoyed this.

Okay, here we go. This Saturday is our caucus. Pretend you and me are sitting at a table. Convince me why Obama is better suited to lead our country than Hillary.
P.S. love the video

Obama is coming to my state tomorrow!! It's so incredibly awesome for a Democratic presidential candidate to come here. It's been a looong time I'm quite sad that I can not go to see him...all of my meetings that were cancelled today due to the IL office being closed are now rescheduled to tomorrow and
And we're having our caucus on Saturday, too, Nage! Another first for our state.

Captcha Bitch - it really is something to see Mr. Obama speak. He commands a lot of respect with his speaking abilities. He generates a desire for change. I dare anyone to attend a speech of his and not feel empowered.

"For some voters, it's not about following instructions, it's that they're angry about the rules over the presidential primary," Egan added.

Well done Kirk. I was going to say that's not my quote, but you found some fool named Egan and got a direct quote. Nicely played.
