Hi there. Remember when we use to pass notes back and forth to each other in class. Our inside jokes? Trying not to laugh which only made us laugh harder? I miss that. But then Flickr came along. And Twitter. And that other blog. And, well, let's be honest, things changed.
Still, I miss you.
I never did tell you about the business trip to Texas where I ended up staying at a Great Wolf Lodge with bunkbeds in my room. Or hitting the waterpark with a coworker. Or the two other trips to San Francisco. And a million other things.
Last weekend was spent ignoring my ear ache, reading up on Errol Morris, watching A Brief History of Time (on youtube when I couldn't find a streaming version on Netflick), reading David Sedaris, missing events with friends and sleeping. Lots of sleeping. The new job is. hectic. I like it. But it. is. constant. Last week I got stuck in SFO for longer than expected which got me home around 4 AM. Which, in short, is why we've grown apart. I'll work on that.
In the meantime I have absolutely no presents for anyone I know and Christmas is only 10 days away. How did that happen? Life. It sneaks up so fast.
I'm not sure what this post is about, but I miss you. I wish that I could know about what you were reading or thinking about and not only by reading Twitter. But that is life, as you say. I guess I did just see you two weeks ago, but it feels longer. It usually does.

It was basically about how I missed blogging here and the folks I met doing it. That's really the only reason I haven't given up on posting here yet. I've meet too many interesting people via this blog to seriously consider turning it off.
I miss you too. I'm glad we're getting together tomorrow. :)

You're the bestest Sprizee I know :) I too have been a bit quiet in Bloggerville, for different reasons, but quietish nonetheless and I too miss so many of the wonderful folks here.

Gosh, I say I'm going to be better about updating things and then I can't even reply to comments in a timely fashion. Geez!
Maya, But less because you're in Europe right? Fresh cheese from France seems like a pretty awesome consolation prize! ;)
Chris, No you are. Don't argue with me!
