Today I learned to make sure I'm logged into my Twittter account and not the company I work for when posting a new message. The problem is I'm using TweetDeck to manage it all and it's way too easy to forget which account I'm logged into. Next week I'm setting up separate accounts, for sure. Luckily I ended up posting something about Richard Feynman WHO I AM TOTALLY OBSESSED WITH AT THE MOMENT. Seconds after posting it I felt this sinking feeling as I realized where it had actually been posted. Which I knew was going to happen eventually because YES I AM THAT DUMB.
This is what I get for not foolproofing it for myself. I know better, honestly.
I deleted the tweet maybe 60 seconds after it went live, but of course, someone had already replied. As it turns out talking about Feynman was easy to make relevant to what my company does, so no big deal. But then a coworker didn't realize that I had already replied and he replied about one hour later. And then some emails went back and forth about who replied so quickly? And thanks! So, of course, I couldn't just accept the thanks. I had to go and out myself. That's how that works.
Anyways, have you watched every single video you can find about Richard Feynman on the Internet? Yeah, me too. Who knew I could be so head over heels in love with a dead guy. Swoon.
And it all started with a gift guide I wrote for the Seattle P-I. Go figure.
Ha, last week someone posted directly on FB Wall asking me about the status of a certain opportunity. Yeah, it was on there for all to see for about 5 minutes. That was no good. Remind me why I use FB again? Thanks for sharing your insight Sprizee. Best wishes for a great 2010!

HA. Have you had their Blank Slate? I forgot about how amazing it was until 5 minutes ago and now I can't shut up about it. I think those marketing folks knew what they were doing when they pinged me.

Yes, I've tried them all. Now, I must figure out how to get free things from all the hard work I'm doing on the blogs, Twitter, and Facebook. Yes, I'm back and no I've never ever said that before.

Back from what? The dead? Downtown? Getting your hair permed? It's all of the above, isn't it?
P.S. Your hair looks lovely today.

I'm back from the dead. Like I really need a perm silly. You can't stop the locks that I got, I'm still Egan from The Block.
